We’re excited to announce the launch of the validation phase for one of the key results of the ECOnsumer project: the WP4 Green Apps Compilation. This selection includes 120 mobile applications that support sustainable consumption habits. Presented as an interactive digital table on the ECOnsumer website (in the “Results” section), it offers a user-friendly and engaging way to promote eco-conscious decision-making.
The WP4 Green Apps Compilation integrates the principles of mobile learning with the DigCompConsumer framework, aiming to support both adult learners and trainers. The apps included cover various stages of the consumer process (pre-purchase, purchase, and post-purchase) and are categorised by topic, competence area, usability, and platform. Through this approach, the ECOnsumer project harnesses the power of mobile technology to foster awareness and stimulate change in sustainability topics.
To ensure quality and relevance, we’re now validating the compilation with 150 participants (75 learners and 75 trainers) across 5 partner countries. Sessions will introduce the result and collect feedback on its usability and educational value. The apps will be presented in English, and participants will explore the interactive table to assess its impact.
We invite educators, trainers, and adult learners to take part in a validation session in June 2025. Your feedback will help improve and shape the final version, ensuring it serves as a high-quality digital tool for sustainability education.
