Diputación Foral de Álava (DFA) governs and administers the province of Álava with powers in different matters such as taxation, social services, road infrastructures, economic development, mobility and policies to promote employment, trade and tourism.
DFA develops support programs for the province’s retail trade through investment and promotion aid programs, and provides the sector with specialized training to improve its competitiveness and promote its digitalization. It also sensitizes Alava citizens about the benefits for the community of consuming local.
The ‘ECOnsumer’ project is part of this line of work, aimed at training consumers in transversal skills that allow them to buy products and services in a sustainable and responsible way.
Media Creativa (MC) is the result of over 20 years of experience, challenges and lessons learned from an interdisciplinary group of professionals who share a common passion: educational innovation.
MC works to bring value to learning spaces, researching, designing and developing a different training offer, inspired by innovative methodologies and pedagogical approaches such as storytelling (including digital storytelling), problem-based training, gamification, game-based learning, etc. With the focus on seizing the full potential offered by new technologies, the design of innovative pedagogical approaches is applied to formal, non-formal and informal settings.
Virtual Campus (VC) is a development, training and consulting SME in the areas of Technology Enhanced Learning, Serious Games and Information Systems. Its vision is to actively promote the development of the Knowledge Society by supporting public and private entities in the process of designing and developing strategies and projects that lead to increased societal benefits.
VC has strong relations with various Universities and Companies in the region and has successfully partnered with Local and Regional Authorities, enterprise associations and specialized companies.
VC has successfully produced multimedia e-learning contents for different platforms (desktops, mobile, tablet), in different environments (online, standalone) for different purposes (vocational training, emergency services, higher education, secondary education) and in different scopes (R&D&I projects, client contracts).
Unione Nazionale Consumatori Umbria (UNCU) is a pioneering association in Italy established to safeguard and advocate for citizens, particularly consumers. The primary goal is to support and inform society through a range of activities, including providing assistance, offering training programs, and formulating new legislative proposals.
UNCU engage with various legal entities at both national and international levels, demonstrating our unwavering dedication to consumer rights. Recognized by the Municipal Administration of the Umbria Region, and it is also approved by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policies as a third sector organization. With its membership in the National Consumer Council and acknowledgment from the European Commission as a consumer association in Italy, UNCU holds a significant position in advocating for consumer rights on a national and international level.
Collaborating with public authorities, educational institutions, and various local municipalities in the region, UNCU regularly organizes events and activities to educate and empower consumers.
Fundacja Ekopotencjał – Przestrzeń Możliwości (EKOPOTENCIAL) was founded in 2013 and is dedicated to ecological education, environmental protection, and development. Established by Faculty of Earth Sciences and Environmental Sciences graduates at the University of Wroclaw, the foundation emphasises an interdisciplinary and comprehensive approach to environmental challenges. With expertise in environmental protection, ecological education, tourism, and spatial management, the foundation aims to apply solutions through education. Their mission is to reveal the „eco-potential” of our surroundings, focusing on social activities and projects that harness the natural environment’s potential. The foundation also undertakes initiatives to enhance the quality of life in urban areas.
The Fachhochschule des Mittelstands (FHM) is a private, non-profit, and state-approved University of Applied Sciences. The FHM was founded in 2000 by medium-sized enterprises and educational institutions. Since then, it has developed into one of the most successful private universities in Germany with a strong focus on the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises. The FHM’s goal is to provide students with necessary theoretical and hands-on skills for their later business career. The FHM’ concept focuses on practical career orientation, individual tutoring, and small group sizes.
The FHM focuses on a wide range of research and development projects. More than 30 European, national and regional projects currently characterize the profile of a distinctive SME research. The FHM focuses on research and development in eight defined research fields and is constantly developing ideas and concepts for new R&D projects with a national and international focus.
