On Friday, April 4th 2025, we gathered once again in Vitoria-Gasteiz (Spain) for the third meeting of our National Pilot Committee.
DFA and Media Creativa project representatives presented and reviewed the final version of the ECOnsumer Toolbox, with the 125 gamified activities. These activities, carefully designed to engage users in learning about responsible consumption in a fun way, offer quizzes, challenges, and simulations. The committee’s feedback helped us confirm the clarity and usability of the materials.
We also presented the work plan for Work Package 4, the Compilation of 100 Green Apps. This part of the project is all about empowering digital consumers by giving them access to practical tools that can support more ethical and environmentally conscious decisions in their online shopping and consumption habits. We walked the committee through the methodology we’ll use to select and evaluate the apps, including the sustainability criteria, technical requirements, and the planned strategy to make these tools available and accessible. The open dialogue that followed was rich with insights, new angles, and even app suggestions from committee members.
We will now start with the development of this last result. We’re thankful for the time, energy, and commitment of the committee members to the project.
